Our Story
Founded in January 2023, Ital Gifts is a vibrant online marketplace specializing in African and Caribbean inspired gifts and home to a community of independent sellers, providing shoppers with unique finds, exclusive items and authentic gifts.
Our mission is to showcase the richness and diversity of Africa and the Caribbean through a diverse range of clothes, jewellery, toys, artwork, books and home decor that celebrates the beauty, history and traditions of these regions.
As a black-owned business, we have struggled to raise funds through traditional routes, so we have launched our crowdfunding campaign.
With your support and the funds raised, we will have necessary resources to continue to promote, expand and develop the website, create new functionality, enhance the user experience and become self sustainable.
But we need your support to make this a reality!

How Your Contribution Will Be Used
Your contribution will go towards funding:
- Marketing of the website, its products and the sellers
We work hard behind the scenes to promote products through various channels, both onsite and offsite, including Google, Instagram and Facebook.
Your support will provide us with the necessary resources to succeed and to ensure Ital Gifts becomes self-sustainable. - Technical development and website improvements
We consistently work on developing the website and creating new functionality and features to improve the user experience for both shoppers and sellers.

Ital Gifts is a platform for a community of independent designers, artists and entrepreneurs who are so often overlooked by larger retailers.
By supporting Ital Gifts, you are also supporting the sellers on Ital Gifts.We work closely with the sellers to grow their products range, reach a wider audience and generate new income revenues and in the near future, we will run monthly webinars with guest speakers for sellers and shoppers alike
