When you buy on Ital Gifts, you’re purchasing from individual stores.

Shopping on Ital Gifts works the same as anywhere else online, but each item on Ital Gifts is listed and sold by an independent seller who has created, locally sourced or hand-made their products.

Ital Gifts has no warehouse.

When you shop on Ital Gifts, you are directly supporting independent sellers who manage their own orders and store their own inventory.

If you have any questions about an item or order, first reach out to the seller, they are there to help.

You can purchase items on Ital Gifts without creating an account.

Found the perfect thing on Ital Gifts, but you’re not ready to commit to creating an account. You can check out as a guest.

You can purchase items on Ital Gifts without an account.

To check out as a guest:

  • Add an item(s) to your basket
  • Click Basket
  • Choose how you’ll pay
  • Click Proceed to checkout
  • Type in your email address and click Continue to checkout

(Ital Gifts will send your receipt to this email address)

 

  • If you have an account under that email address, you’ll be prompted to sign in
  • Enter your delivery information
  • Click Continue to payment
  • Add your payment information
  • Click Review your order
  • Choose your delivery method and add an optional note to the seller
  • Click place your order

 

You’ll receive an email receipt for each store you have purchased from.

If you have a question for a seller, you can contact them by replying to the email receipt.

When your order dispatches, you’ll receive a dispatch confirmation email from Ital Gifts.

If the seller has provided a tracking number, there will be a Track Your Package link at the top of the email.

You can pay for items on Ital Gifts by using a credit card or via PayPal.

Generally, you must be in a country that supports PayPal and have a PayPal account to pay with PayPal.

To pay with PayPal:

  • In your Basket, click PayPal
  • You’re directed to PayPal. Sign in and follow the steps in PayPal to confirm your payment method and order details
  • After you confirm your payment in PayPal, you’re directed back to Ital Gifts
  • Click place your order to complete your purchase

If you have trouble with paying with PayPal, reach out to PayPal support, or select a different payment method (if available).

If you need make a change to an order or you are experiencing a problem, we encourage you to reach out to the seller directly; the seller is the best person to help you.

Each seller manages their own orders, and makes decisions about cancellations, refunds, and returns.

Sellers can solve most problems with orders and most issues are resolved by working with the seller.

If you contacted the seller more than 48 hours ago and the vendor is unable to help you, your next step is to let us know so we can resolve the issue

If you moved and forgot to update your Ital Gifts’ account or you misspelt the address to send a gift to, don’t worry!

You can change the address for your order before it’s dispatched, as long as the new address is not in a different country.

If you placed an order with an incorrect delivery address, first check that your order hasn’t dispatched yet:

  • Sign in to your account
  • Click the your account > Purchases and reviews.
  • To the right of your order, you’ll see either Dispatched or Not Dispatched:

 

My Order Is Not Dispatched yet

If your item is Not Dispatched yet, you can contact the vendor to update your address on the order or to cancel your order. You can then re-order the items with the correct delivery address.

 

My Order Was Already Dispatched

If your item is Dispatched, you should contact the delivery service to see if they can reroute the order, most delivery services may require the sender to open a claim. If this is the case, you may need to ask the seller to assist you.

You may be able to cancel your order depending on the store’s policies.

If you want to cancel your purchase, the seller is the best person to help you.

For qualifying orders, if the item you ordered doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged or doesn’t match the item description or photos, you’ll receive a full refund.

If you contacted the seller more than 48 hours ago and the seller is unable to help you, your next step is to let us know so we can resolve the issue.

Ital Gifts is a marketplace made up of independent sellers who run their own store.

This means that each seller is responsible for their own policies regarding refunds, exchanges, and returns.

Individual policies will vary from store to store.

Sellers are expected to clearly state their policies regarding returns and exchanges in their listings.

 

This includes:

  • Whether the vendor accept returns
  • The time frame in which the vendor will accept a return

 

When vendors enter into a return agreement with a buyer, we require the vendor to fulfil that agreement.

This may include:

  • Providing Ital Gifts with proof replacement item has been dispatched

 

If a seller has a problem with a transaction, the seller should to contact the buyer directly.

Buyers are also encouraged to contact the seller if they experience any issues.

 

Once an order has been cancelled the full sale price (and delivery cost if applicable) will be refunded.

Ital Gifts will refund the payment using the original payment method used to place the order and buyers will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

 

If you’re waiting for a refund through PayPal, double check your PayPal account or ask us directly about the refund.

If you paid using a credit card without signing in to a PayPal account – using PayPal Guest Checkout – the money will go back to your credit or debit card. It can take up to 30 days for the refund to show up on your card statement.

If the transaction is over 60 days old, Ital Gifts will have to use PayPal’s “Send Money” feature to send the refund to your PayPal account.

If you need to return or exchange a purchased item, the seller is the best person to help you.

Each seller manages their own orders and is responsible for setting their own policies regarding cancellations, refunds, exchanges and returns on every item they list for sale

 

For qualifying orders, you’ll receive a refund for any item that doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged, or doesn’t match the item description or photos.

Sellers are not required to accept returns, exchanges or provide a refund unless stated in the return policy on their listing.

If the seller is willing to accept a return, be sure to settle on the details in a message before returning the item. 

 

The seller can solve most problems with orders.

If you contacted the seller more than 48 hours ago and the seller is unable to help you, your next step is to let us know so we can resolve the issue.

 

In most cases, the item(s) must be returned unworn, unwashed and undamaged.

CDs and DVDs must be returned unopened.

Posters, paintings and vinyl records can only be returned if the product is defective or damaged and some items cannot be returned to health protection or hygiene reasons.

If you purchased several items from the same store, you can leave a review for each item.

Ital Gifts has a five-star review system (one being the lowest and five being the highest) for reviewing your purchases.

Choose a star rating that best represents the product and experience you had and add details in the provided text space.

The more detailed your review, the more helpful it will be to other shoppers.  

The star rating you see for a seller is the average of the reviews they’ve received in the past 12 months.

Most issues are resolved by working with the seller.

If you contacted the seller more than 48 hours ago and the vendor is unable to help you, your next step is to let us know so we can resolve the issue.

You can leave a review or open a case after the date your order should arrive.

If you need to speak with the seller about a problem before the date your order should arrive, you can contact them.

Any disputes can be resolved by contact us or using the PayPal Resolution Center.

Purchases made via PayPal are protected under PayPal’s Buyer Protection policy.

If you decide to create an account after you’ve completed your order, click the order number on your receipt. You’ll then be taken to Ital Gifts and prompted to register for an account.

After you create an account this way, your purchase will be automatically linked to your new account.

If you already have an Ital Gifts account associated with the email address that you purchased with, you can still link the order to your account.

Click the order number on your receipt. You’ll be prompted to sign in to Ital Gifts and your guest purchase will then be linked to your Ital Gifts account.

Note: The account you link your guest order to must have the same email address that you used for your guest order.

Before you permanently delete your account, check that:

  • All cases you opened are resolved
  • You have no additional cases you want to open, since you won’t have access to the case system after you close your account
  • You have saved any information you need for your records

 

To permanently close and delete your account:

  • Click You
  • Click Account settings
  • Click Privacy
  • Click Request deletion of your data under Permanently close and delete your account

For security and verification purposes, you must make the deletion request while logged into the account you’d like to close and delete.

This deletion is permanent and your account can’t be reinstated.
